My last traveling expedition landed me in Vernon, NY. Never heard of it? Me neither! 🙂 I went to NY to visit my best friend, Allison. She just had a baby Feb. 2nd. Paityn Ashlie. She is so beautiful and precious. So I was able to fly up and visit for the weekend.

And of course, God is so faithful. I didn’t have the money to go the Tuesday before I left (which was a Friday). I called my best friend and left her a message telling her that I couldn’t come because I didn’t have the money. And then God gloriously provided that night around 11 pm. I had the ticket the next day, only two days before I left to go. And the ticket price wasn’t outrageous, and it was cheaper then it was last year when I went! God is so AMAZING!

So I flew in to visit my best friend whom I love so much, and always refer to as “my best friend” and I sign cards and notes to her as “your best friend”. I love it! Here are some pictures from the trip!

My best friend’s family owns quite a few four wheelers as well as 79 acres of land. So we had the most fun ever combining the two! We went four wheeling and it was MUDDY! We wore rain boots and coveralls.

We got stuck quite a few times. This is the result of pulling and pushing each other out. And when I tried to push one out the tires just splashed the muddy water all over my face! But it was so much fun! We even rode the four wheelers down a creek and up the bank.

This is PAITYN and me! We had lots of fun together. I got to feed her, and change her diapers and change her clothes and hold her and rock her to sleep. Oh it was so great!

This is my beautiful best friend and mother of Paityn! I love her so much! We have been best friends since we were in 9th grade. And that was 9 years ago!! Before she was dating or married or having babies.

I thought this one was so cute because she is yawning! I love it!

NY here I come! :)

me-and-al-2008Me and Allison, January 2008

I have some wonderful news to share. Well mostly its wonderful for me and my best friend, Allison. But I just can’t help but praise the Lord!

The Lord has blessed me with the opportunity to fly to New York to visit her and her family and new baby girl Paityn.

I have been praying about when I should go, and the money for a plane ticket for a while now. Tuesday night I called her and left her a message saying that I wasn’t going to be able to come. But then the Lord provided, like He always does and I have  plane ticket for Friday morning!! I’ll be there by Friday afternoon and I’ll spend the weekend with them! I haven’t seen her for over a year and so I am very excited to get to visit and catch up. I am sure I will take lots of pictures of Paityn, and I’ll make sure to blog with pictures!!

I just love the Lord so much and just PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME!!! There really is NONE like Him!

I have officially moved in.

I now live with two of the sweetest people! Tom and Becky Burns.

I have a new roommate. Jess Wright. She is also one of the interns for Immersed.

We live in a huge room together, and I sleep on a brand new mattress! I’m really excited about that! haha…

The Lord has blessed me immensely!

I’m happy.

Also, Tom Burns has a website company. He does the IHOP-AC website!

He is great! If you have any need for your website check his website out!

Having your website redone, or optimized will make you…

I blogged about IHOP-AC needing 10,000 dollars by the 16th here.

On Monday the 12th, we prayed about it during intercession. Monday afternoon the Lord provided the 10,000 dollars! HE IS SO AMAZING!

His provision makes us…

And He delights in giving gifts to His children so it makes Him…

God is really good. Thank You, L0rd!

Being an intercessory missionary is pretty amazing. But it really challenges your faith and trust in the Lord. I am full time at IHOP-AC but this does not mean that I am paid by IHOP-AC. We are a non-profit organization and we only get money that people give to us. I have to raise my own money to be full time. I became full time in January and I am still seeking the Lord to provide on a monthly basis. I know that eventually I will have people who are funding the prayer movement through me on a monthly basis, but right now I am still gradually getting there. I have one person who funds me monthly and then like two days ago I received two more! God is being so faithful!

Also, my car broke down on Valentine’s day, and I had no idea how I was going to pay for it, but I just drove it to the mechanics and trusted the Lord. (Probably the first time I’ve ever not cried when my car broke down.) And the next night the Lord provided the money to fix my car plus extra!

Then about two days later I received a bill in the mail for something I had no idea I had to pay, and I didn’t trust the Lord. I immediately teared up and worry rose in my heart. But David Gordon, the director of IHOP-AC, reminded me that the Lord is faithful and He will provide. And sure enough a couple days later He provided the money!

I am so blown away by God. He always provides, but there are times when worry still rises in my heart! Help me God!

I just wanted all of you to know how AMAZING our God is! He provides, trust in Him and He will take care of EVERYTHING! Seriously. 🙂
