I am reading the book, “The Practice of the Love of Jesus Christ” by Alphonsus Liguori, and my heart was responding in such a love for Jesus. I am so in love with this MAN! I can’t contain it! Why does the world not love the Man that gave His life for them. Who loves them so much that He holds NOTHING back of Himself from them. It breaks my heart that the world does not love Him. He created them to love Him! He is the only one worthy of our love!
Oh Father, inflame the hearts of the people of the world to love Jesus Christ! Ignite a fire in them that cannot be contained! I pray that they would not be satisfied with anything else! Raise up the church to be a picture of what it looks like to be in love with Him! Cause their hearts to forget the love of self and fully love Him! Cause my heart to forget the love of myself and let me fully love Your Son! Oh Jesus! How I love You! You are the lover of my soul! I will never let You go!
