I had the privilege of teaching at our Encountering God Service last night.

I taught on our identity as sons, bride and priests. Because God is our Father, Jesus is the Bridegroom and they are worthy to be ministered to, and to partner with their heart in intercession!

You can click this link to get the notes:

And you can listen to the teaching here (won’t be available until Monday):

Hope you enjoy! 🙂

It is getting harder and harder to keep up with this blog consistently. But I will press through and do it! 🙂 Here are some pictures of random things.

Wesley got his hair cut again! Now its short, for real!

The “bratpack” as we now call ourselves, did a face mask night. Yup thats right, even Wesley. He is such a good sport! We had fun, and we had super soft faces.

Some of the staff has been gone for the past 10 days. So me, Wesley, John and Gracey, have been holding down the fort at IHOP-AC. It has been great, but I have felt the weight of the responsibility of a prayer room, and being open for the community.

I taught a class in The Way School of Ministry. I taught on Preserving God’s People through our identity as sons, our identity as the bride, and our identity as priests. I had a great time sharing what was on the heart of the Lord!

Wesley preached during our EGS service on Friday night. Man, he did an AMAZING job! He brought a strong word on Contending for the Knowledge of God. That we would stop living a concept Christianity and begin to live in reality! Powerful and life-changing message!

I am now officially a North Carolina resident! It has taken me a while because of costs but the Lord has provided! I am now in the process of trying to get my car fixed and then getting my inspection. Praise the Lord!

I praise the Lord for my life and for all that He is doing! He is amazing!

I have been reading the book “The Practice of the Love of Jesus Christ” by Alphonsus Liguori and also meditating on love especially in 1 Cor. 13. And verse 5 talks about how love does not take into account a wrong suffered. And 1 Peter 4:8 says “love covers a multitude of sins.”

If this is love, man, I do not know how to love! I am so quick to point out people’s mistakes or how they are not being like Jesus, blah blah. Or use a bible verse to jokingly make them think about what they said. But this is not covering them with love, this is calling them out. I do not want to call people out and make them feel bad. I want my love to cover all of their sins! I do not want to take into account any wrong suffered, whether against me or against someone else.

We, as the church, need to look at how we are loving. How are we loving our brothers and sisters? I know that I am NOT loving like I should. And thanks to the Holy Spirit, who reveals Jesus, He is showing me the way that Jesus loves. Jesus loves me like those verses! Think about how HIS LOVE covered OUR SINS! He died on the cross out of love, so that our sins would be covered by His blood and we would be forever clean.

So we have been forgiven so much, we have been given so much. Yet it is so hard for us to forgive and to give like that. It is so hard for us to love, and to show grace. But its Christianity 101. Its not ok for us to not love like Jesus. Yes, we are weak and we make mistakes, but Jesus calls us to be like Him. And by HIS POWER it is possible. It is possible for us to grow in love and to love like He does.

Search it out, this love of our God’s and lets love Him and others like that!

Its the first and second commandment! Love God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind. And love your neighbor as yourself! We can do it! Not by our own strength, but as we understand our spiritual poverty (Matt. 5:3) and understand His greatness!

Jesus! Put Your love inside of me and Your bride! Let us fall more in love with You! And let us love everyone. Let us overflow with love for people. Make our love like Yours so that it can cover a multitude of sins! In Jesus name!

I desire….

To be more like Jesus.

For the murdering of millions of babies to end.

For love to abound in me.

For meekness and humility to arise and pour forth.

For the Bride of Christ to be pure and spotless.

To enjoy fasting.

To be unknown.

To love myself.

To never forget and always remember what my Jesus has done for me.

For you to know the love of the Father and the Love that Jesus Christ has for you.

To pray forever and never give up.

To serve.

To bless someone and them never know who it is from.

To be a shining and burning light.

To have the oil of intimacy.

For anger and frustration to never rise in my heart.

For my soul (mind, will, and emotions) to come into submission to His Spirit.

To be in Uganda.

To live a Sermon on the Mount lifestyle.

For your life to be radically changed by Jesus Christ.

To waste my life, all for love, on Jesus.

What are some things you desire? Ask, according to His heart, and He will give it to you!
