Nathan and Jen Taitt

Nathan and Jen Taitt are two of my very closest friends. Jen and I met freshman year at Liberty Universty and have been close ever since. Jen and I both met Nathan our junior year there. They got married in August of 2007. I love them so much! They are amazing people!

They both have been very influential in my relationship with the Lord. Jen has seen me through everything. Many of the things I wrote about in my Beauty for Ashes posts, Jen saw me through. Praying for me and encouraging me to keep going after the Lord. She was amazing!

Nathan had a huge part in teaching me how to listen to the voice of the Lord and to walk according to the Spirit (Romans 8). It radically changed my life. He is also one of the people who introduced me to the prayer room! Jen and I went on our first missions trip to Romania, BHOP, and Nathan led it. He taught me about Jesus as the Bridegroom and the Father heart of God.

On my journey into the prayer room, and my journey since as an intercessory missionary they both have been there supporting me in what I am doing.

IHOP-AC’s director David Gordon has been Nathan’s pastor for many years. And Nathan grew up in Burlington, NC where we are located. So he has many connections to us.

They have a huge and strategic part at IHOP-AC, they not only love us and pray for us, they support us financially.

Nathan has an amazing website development/optimizing company in Atlanta. If you want to support the house of prayer indirectly, a great way to do it is by supporting our supporters! I put his website button on the right hand tool bar up at the top.

Check it out and be blessed with the talent the Lord has given him and his company.

I am in Atlanta! I have been here since May 7th. I enjoyed about 4 days hanging out with my friends the Campbells and then I headed into the internship on May 11th. It was a rough couple of days at the beginning, and it still is hard every once and a while, but God is really moving in my life. I know that He has me here for a reason and I am so thankful.

We had a conference this weekend called the Passionate Pursuit Conference and it was pretty awesome. The Holy Spirit was being poured out in great measure. There were many people healed and many people who started walking in freedom in some aspect of their lives.

I can’t even begin to explain all that the Lord is doing and all that He is speaking to me. I think so far the biggest thing is His love and His joy. He has been pouring out His joy here at this house of prayer and it has been amazing. I am trying to dive into the depths of His love and to really abide in it. (John 15:9)

Be praying with me as the Lord is breaking walls and stronghold’s off of my life to do with how I think about myself and caring about what others think of me. But Jesus is awesome and I submit myself to Him and darkness has to flee! Praise the Lord!

Today I was officially accepted into the Watch internship in Atlanta, Ga at the International House of Prayer-Atlanta! Bless God! I am sooo excited! I only have $1500 more dollars to raise! πŸ™‚ I move in May 11th! God is so amazing! I am so looking for to what the Lord has in store. I’m sure I can’t even imagine it, and I’m not going to try. It will be probably the hardest summer ever, but the best summer ever! I love Jesus so much!

Keep praying for me! I will definitely be needing it as I embark on this new and crazy journey!

HR536

On Monday, January 14th, in Atlanta, Ga, there was a bill that was put on the floor. It is called HR536 and it is a bill that states:

Paramount right to life. (a) The rights of every person shall be recognized, among which in the first place is the inviolable right of every innocent human being to life. The right to life is the paramount and most fundamental right of a person.(b) With respect to the fundamental and inalienable rights of all persons guaranteed in this Constitution, the word ‘person’ applies to all human beings, irrespective of age, race, sex, health, function, or condition of dependency, including unborn children at every state of their biological development, including fertilization.

This is the first step to stopping abortion in America! God is hearing and answering our prayers! This bill, if it gets passed and becomes a law, will make abortion illegal in Georgia. Because it states that a person is a person at conception. Abortions would then be killing people, and therefore would be illegal since murder is illegal. If this becomes a law in GA, then they will take it furthur and take it to the Supreme Court to use it to over turn Roe v. Wade. Which is the case, in 1973, that legalized abortion. Praise the Lord! Now as we are continuing to pray for the ending of abortion, we can also pray for this bill, and that it would be passed in the state of Georgia! Amen!

The link on the side of the page titled HR536 will give you more information concerning this bill.
