Sweet Izzy…

Me carrying Izzy in a moby sling

Me with Izzy! This is me having so much fun carrying my friend, Tiffany’s baby around. Her name is Izzy. She is almost 4 months old! She is so precious and I was able to spend some time on Sunday night with her. I was playing mommy. I put her in the moby sling and carried her around like that for a while. It was so fun! 🙂 Praise the Lord for babies! And praise the Lord for LIFE!

I received this e-mail today:

>Dear Friends, > >I’m writing to let you know about a terrible piece of legislation >called “The Freedom of Choice Act” (FOCA). > >FOCA would establish the right to abortion as a fundamental right >(like the right to free speech) and wipe away every restriction on >abortion nationwide. > >It will eradicate state and federal abortion laws that the majority of >Americans support and prevent states from enacting similar protective >measures in the future. > >Please read the expert analysis by Americans United for Life (AUL) and >sign the Fight FOCA petition at: >http://www.FightFOCA.com

On Monday nights the prayer room is open from 6-9. We do an hour of devotional worship from 6-7 and then corporate intercession from 7-9. On Monday nights we cry out for revival and the pouring out of His Spirit in Alamance County.

Tonight, while I was prayer leading, I was so distracted. I was supposed to be worshipping and engaging with the Lord and seeking for the burden of His heart so I could pour it out in intercession and partner with Him.

Well, thats not what was happening, and I wanted to be engaged so I could lead the room in intercession. Then the Lord revealed to me that I needed to pray and encourage the room to not be distracted (and myself too). But to choose to press in to Him despite the distractions inside and outside of us.

As I prayed and we started to worship I felt the Lord really challenging me. Here I sit distracted and not being in the Lord’s presence when I am called to be an intercessor for Alamance County. But I am not thinking about that as I sit there. I am not thinking about His heart for Alamance County.

So the Lord reveled to me that I need to increase and abound in love for Alamance County. I am praying that the Lord would increase this in me! When I love someone it is my joy to pray for them, I want to pray for them! SO I know I need to fall in love with the people and the town in a greater way. Because then I will be willing to lay my life down in intercession. Because this is what I have been called to do.

I want to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Do it in me God! Increase my capacity to LOVE Your people! That I would enter into intercession with a passion and devotion! To seek Your heart for the burden! Have Your way with me!

Last night we had our 2nd community night for Immersed. Every Saturday night we eat dinner together, and then we invite anyone who wants to, to come over and hang out with us. Last night we spent hours playing instruments and worshiping the Lord. We had two guitars, a piano and a violin. We also had a cello but no one knows how to play it, yet. It was a great time of fellowship and being with the Lord! Here are some pictures!

This is John and Gracey Guetterman.

They are intercessory missionaries at IHOP-AC with me. John is full-time in the prayer room. Gracey and John had also been working a full time job from their home. That was their main income to provide for them. Recently they lost their job. Which was totally from the Lord.

They are now going to be raising support to be able to continue in the house of prayer full-time.

They have no idea that I am asking this. But I want to challenge every person who is reading this post right now. I want to challenge you to give somehow, someway to John and Gracey. I don’t usually ask for money, especially not for myself, but I really felt the Lord leading me to do this.

You can check out their story and all about them at their blog.

You can give not only a one time gift, but you can support them monthly as well to help out with bills and monthly needs. You can e-mail them at johnguetterman@ihop-ac.org to talk to them personally.

Pray and seek the Lord, if He is speaking to you in any way to fund the prayer movement through these two then do it! The Lord LOVES those who give, especially to those in need. They are amazing and they LOVE the Lord!

You can also make checks out to

“IHOP-AC” with a sticky note with their names and send it to:

P.O. Box 3113

Burlington, NC 27217

Thank you so much for funding the prayer movement!
