Here is an amazing post by my fellow intercessory missionary at IHOP-AC! It isn’t long so you should check it out! This guy has some major revelation!

It is on Hannah, Samuel’s mother, and intercession. That she prayed out of the place of barreness because she literally was barren! She birthed someone from that prayer that brought widespread revelation to all of Israel! Its amazing!

Today in the prayer room I was studying through Luke 12. I came across this really amazing verse. Luke 12:32- “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.”

The verses preceding this verse are talking about not worrying about what we are going to eat and drink and what clothes we are going to have for our bodies. It says we should be seeking His kingdom, and all these things will be added to us. We shouldn’t be seeking those things. We shouldn’t even be worrying. He says in verse 29 “And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying.” This is Jesus speaking. He is telling us not to worry. He isn’t saying, its ok to worry sometimes. No, He is saying do not worry. What do we spend the most time worrying about? Being provided for.

Jesus tells us that we do not have to be afraid! OUR FATHER HAS CHOSEN GLADLY TO GIVE US THE KINGDOM! He knows what we need and He will provide it for us! Wow! This has blown me away today! I do not have to worry, because my Father has it all under control!

This is really speaking to me because I have been moving into worry. I get anxious about things, but I need to rest, knowing He is taking care of me! He is my provider! Praise the Lord! Thank You Father, for caring about me and taking care of me! I trust You! You are amazing! I love You!

The Heavenly Man by Paul Hattaway- This is an amazing story of Brother Yun, a Chinese pastor who has been persecuted in China for years! This book has greatly challenged my faith in the Lord, and challenged me in how much I know of the word! This book is amazing!

Rees Howells Intercessor by Norman Grubb- I can’t even begin to describe how much this book has impacted my life already, and I’m not even finished with it. Every time I read it I feel like I need to get before God. It’s amazing! He has many amazing truths in here! This is a great read for anyone, not just if you feel you’ve been called to live a lifestyle of an intercessor. We all are to intercede and Rees Howells was a great example of what that looks like!

I think I realized with this recent transition, that I’m not that good at change. Nearly every time there is a new change it takes a couple of weeks for me to adjust. So thats where I am at. I actually don’t think thats good, and so I am looking forward to the Lord working this out of me.

I’ve been having a sweet but barren time. The Lord has been reminding me that even though I am not “feeling” Him like I want to, and I’m having a hard time, He is still who He says He is. I love being reminded of this because so many times I base things off of my emotions and feelings. But He is still amazing, and good and faithful. And He is still worthy of me giving Him my all, even when I don’t feel like it.

Also, another little nugget that I learned was that even in those times that I’m not feeling Him, and I keep saying yes, it sets me up for encounter in the future. My spirit is coming alive, and I’m more sensitive to the Lord and what He is doing. Its amazing! I love the way the Lord works!

So I will never give up, or stop wasting my life on Him! I am in LOVE! And nothing will stop me from giving myself to HIM! Its a beautiful romance!
