So this part of the post isn’t about Romania…yet. But this is a picture of me and Jess and Kirsten 5 minutes ago!

We are at IHOP-ATLANTA! We were blessed to be able, at the last minute, drive down and attend the Passionate Pursuit Conference.

We are staying with Kirsten’s parents who are so awesome! They just rented an apartment two minutes from IHOP-ATL for 6 months so that they can do an internship!

They love Jesus so much, it’s incredible!

So we don’t even have to use the car at all while we are here. We grabbed our backpacks and walked the short distance.

So here we are, ready to hear from the Lord!

We are here until Sunday afternoon then we head back to Burlington!

We leave for Romania in 6 days! It is crazy!  I feel as if there is so much to do, and then we go away for three days! But God is good!

Me, Jen Taitt, & Jenny Potts–this is actually in 2007, I don’t have digital copies of us in 2005.

I enter my sophomore year in college with freedom I never thought possible! I was counting the months that it had been since I saw my ex boyfriend. Each day and month was a victory for me! I couldn’t wait to say I hadn’t seen him for a year!

The first semester was pretty uneventful. There were no boys in my life, which was great. I was great friends with Jen Taitt and Jenny Potts. I was focusing on my schooling and Jesus.

In Jan. of 2005 Jen, Jenny and I met a guy who we all became really close friends with. We all hung out, worshipped together, studied together, ate together and just did everything together. It was a really fun semester full of friends and living life.

I also met a family that semester who I was able to minister to in amazing ways! They had 4 children and Jenny and I basically were able to pour into their lives for about 4 months. We spent the night, we cleaned, we cooked them dinner and we took them to church. And we really started to appreciate our parents, alot! Taking care of kids is a HANDFUL! But we totally enjoyed it.

I really liked this guy that we were hanging out with. But this was the first time in my life I really wanted to let God have His way. I wasn’t going to manipulate things, I wasn’t going to try and see if he liked me. I was just praying and letting God have his way. So my heart was really free. My heart was in a great place. I wanted more then anything to please God with my relationships since I hadn’t done that ever before.

So we hung out for about 8 months, and it was a great 8 months. God did so much in my life and taught me sooo much. At the end of everything, the Lord clearly spoke and showed me that this was not the man I was supposed to marry. Which was fine by me because I was able to keep my heart pretty free!

During this time I was seeking the Lord, but wasn’t totally sold out. I just didn’t know what I was supposed to do to completely live for the Lord. Things in my head weren’t compeltely connecting to my heart. But I knew there was more to this thing we called Christianity. And the Lord was about to completely turn my life, and my heart upside down!  These were just the events (very important) events that led up to it!

We usually use this verse the day babies are born, but we need to celebrate the fact that we are still able to have birthdays!

Today is my 24th birthday. Those pics up there are some of the things I received. An awesome yellow bag, a green scarf and some handwritten notes that are so sweet taped all over my bathroom mirror and on the doors by my lovely roommate Jess!

I praise the Lord that He created me and knew about me before ANYONE! He loves me so much! THank you God for giving me life! You are Creator! I love You!

I’ve written quite a few posts on abortion. It is a subject I am very passionate about, but not for the sake of being passionate. But because it is on the heart of the Father.

I’ve written about Rowan, the 22 week old baby that was aborted, but born ALIVE. And then neglected by the abortion clinic personnel and then died. The article is on the right hand side of my blog if you haven’t read about it. Check it out.

I read another blog tonight that compared two stories. The story of a similar case as Rowans. And then a HAPPY LIFE STORY, of someone who DID NOT ABORT THEIR BABY but considered their life so precious that they SAVED his life by performing surgery INSIDE the womb at 21 weeks!!!! Then closing it back up where he continued to live, and then was birthed a healthy baby!

My best friend just had a baby!!! She is

She was born Feb. 2nd, 2009 at 3:25pm. 6lbs 6oz 18 inches long!

She is beautiful!!!! And she is LOVED by her parents and her Heavenly Daddy!

My friend Tiffany Taitt, just had a baby girl yesterday!

Her name is Isabella Grace Taitt. She is 6 obs 11.4oz and 19 inches long. She has blond hair and looks so little! She had her at 12:30pm exactly. Her sister Katrina, was able to be in the delivery room and said it was the most beautiful thing ever! We praise the Lord for LIFE! Here are some pictures!

God is so good!

My friend and roommate, Carol, who I’ve blogged about before and put up pictures, turned the big 20 today! For her present I did one of my new favorite hobbies, I made her a journal. Or actually I designed her a new cover for her old one. And what is her passion? Praying for the ending of Abortion and a culture of life in America. She is head of our Bound4life Central North Carolina.

The baby on the front is Isabella Grace, my friend Tiffany’s baby. This was when she was 16 weeks in the womb. She is still in the womb, yet to be born. But she is coming soon!

The past few days I have been going through some journals of mine. I started journaling 3 1/2 years ago and haven’t stopped since.

I journal things that the Lord is teaching me, notes from preaching and teaching, but mainly my life. Its basically one big prayer to the Lord. I write out a lot of my emotions and situations that are happening, so I can get a different perspective on it. And then I cry out to the Lord to make me more like Him.

It is crazy the journey I have been on. What is so crazy is that Jesus still loves me through it all. Oh my goodness I can’t express it enough. How amazing is our GOD! I have been selfish, moody, hurtful, unforgiving, revengeful, ridiculous, jealous, full of strife and dissension and unloving. I’ve spent many times seeking other things to satisfy me. To fill this craving inside of me to be loved. This desire in me to be special. This desire in me to be someone’s favorite. I’ve searched high and low for it. When I knew that there was only One who could fill it. All of it. And He loved me. I didn’t even have to do anything to have His love.

There He was waiting for me to return, with His arms open wide. All I have to do is say “yes” to Him. And I ravish His heart. I just have to look at Him, give Him even a little bit of my attention and His heart is captured by me.

And you know what? When I realize this love, and I stop seeking all those empty things and I turn my attention to my God, oh how my heart is ravished by HIS love! I am His favorite (so are you, that’s the mystery with God), He does desire me, I am special to Him.

I was created to know this Love, and to love Him. This is why I exist. Because out of this place of knowing His love and loving Him, I am glorifying Him with everything I possible can. He gets all the glory! Its all about Him.

We like to think our lives are our own. But if we are followers of Jesus Christ, they are not ours. So here is my life Jesus! Take all of it and leave none of it behind! Fill me with Yourself! Do what you want with me, have all of me!!!

This is my life. The life of a weak, broken, dark human, filled with the Spirit of God, allowing (or trying to allow) the Spirit to live the life of Jesus through me. Wow.

It is the will of the Lord to end abortion. Abortion is the shedding of innocent blood, and it is LEGAL in our country. This is an injustice. The foundations of God’s throne are righteousness and justice (Ps. 89:14). For it to be God’s will for legal shedding of innocent blood, then that would go against the foundations of His throne! And Jesus said to pray in Matt. 6 “Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” For His kingdom to be on earth, which is what He desires, there cannot be an injustice! This would never be His will!

In order for righteousness and justice to reign injustices will end! And so abortion will be ended and it is the will of the Lord!

So lets contend with the heart of the Father!

Jesus, I plead Your blood over my sins and the sins of my nation. God, end ABORTION and send REVIVAL to America! Amen!

I’ve already posted this twice before, but I was talking to my roommates last night about abortion and the Lord just started speaking to me all over about the necessity to understand that innocent blood shed is happening in our country and that it is legal. And that it is the Lord’s desire to END ABORTION! DO it God!

This is a video of an abortion video taped through the ultrasound. You can see this baby moving away from the instrument that is used to kill it as well as a “silent scream” at the end.

This link is to a video that shows the babies after they are aborted. It is very graphic. It is very horrific, but it is the truth.
