On Monday, January 14th, in Atlanta, Ga, there was a bill that was put on the floor. It is called HR536 and it is a bill that states:
Paramount right to life. (a) The rights of every person shall be recognized, among which in the first place is the inviolable right of every innocent human being to life. The right to life is the paramount and most fundamental right of a person.(b) With respect to the fundamental and inalienable rights of all persons guaranteed in this Constitution, the word ‘person’ applies to all human beings, irrespective of age, race, sex, health, function, or condition of dependency, including unborn children at every state of their biological development, including fertilization.
This is the first step to stopping abortion in America! God is hearing and answering our prayers! This bill, if it gets passed and becomes a law, will make abortion illegal in Georgia. Because it states that a person is a person at conception. Abortions would then be killing people, and therefore would be illegal since murder is illegal. If this becomes a law in GA, then they will take it furthur and take it to the Supreme Court to use it to over turn Roe v. Wade. Which is the case, in 1973, that legalized abortion. Praise the Lord! Now as we are continuing to pray for the ending of abortion, we can also pray for this bill, and that it would be passed in the state of Georgia! Amen!
